Our Mission
Africa is home to over 2,000 languages, yet fewer than 3% are represented in computational systems. The bottleneck isn't talent or innovation; it's accessible, high-quality data.
Over the past five years, the African Languages Lab (All Lab) has built a foundation to change that: ~50 billion tokens spanning 40 languages, 54 countries, and over 500 million speakers; one of the largest consolidated African language datasets in existence.
We're building enterprise-grade language technology tools to bring African languages online, improve digital inclusion, and make localization easier for everyone.
